WOW!! anyone else got the full game..

it runs fine in single head but struggles a bit in surround mode,

i have to turn the car detail and draw distance to half to get consistantly smooth performance, also motion blur slows it a little but it looks so cool.

The game still looks good tho, but it frame rate takes a massive hit on the replays.. at least on my set up..

I have no faa or 4x sampling (doesnt seem to work) runnign at 1920x480, have ultra high quality sound and eax enabled (auidgy 2 platinum with latest drivers)

i read somewhere that eax impacts performance so maybe that explains things. cant wait to see what new drivers and new apptimizer do to it

    Hi!

I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive to my letterbox.
Have you tried the game with any steering wheel setups?
Is the handling any better than in the previous single player demo?

Hi, handling seems the same, though the manual does mention a sim mode but im happy with the regular handling

I play it with a logitech wingman rumble pad with analogue steering on the lef tstivk analogue acceleration on the right and brake on the back right shoulder button. works well for me.. even rumbles too

I tweaked the settings too. i reset everything to default, then maxed everything out but just played it in 1024x768, pretty smooth, then played it in 640x480 little smoother but not the difference youd expect.. i think the motion blurring takes a massive hit to the processor.. its weird cos the frame rate doesnt nose dive when loads is happening, just on little things, i think when a lot of motion blur is needed.. like a sudden jolt or something. anyway.. i turned the sound down to standard from ultra high quality and set draw distance to half.. and everything else is on max.. and it runs fine even in 1920x480
dont notice a difference in audio?? still sounds great and surround and everythin

i think the sound setting effects performance maybe fixed in a patch? anyways im happy now with 3 screen fun.. the graphics really are good, lots of reflections.. even saw a bumper hanging of the back of car i was tailing.. very cool.. made me want to hit it and take it off for good but i spun out

just thought id add all the sound is set on high still but i changed the soudn driver from primary to the creative one...

its pretty good now during play im guessing i get betweeen 20-40 fps... which is great for surround gaming

its grreat noticing all the little touches, lighting effects, rain is cool too with the spray from the tires. I LOVE THIS GAME

Must be so class being able to play in triplehead, that screenshot looks amazing.

Might get a copy and see if I can get some strange triplehead action working with my 9700Pro and G200. Should be fun.
