  • Question about NWN and FAA16

    hi,

i just looked in the gaming catalog at matrox and it says FAA16 is not supported.

Are there any Plans to make this work or is it impossible to implement ?

    regards

It works if you force it. NWN is buggered beyond all hope, however.

According to their forums over there, they are probably going to release a Parhelia specific patch to fix the problem sometime before the 1.30 update comes out, since the 1.30 is only going to be released once the expansion pack has gone 'gold'. So here's hoping that Bioware can pull through.

In powerdesk under the 3D/games tab you can select "Force 16XFAA"

Yeah, NWN is complete trash, codewise. With each patch they break something on a different card EXCEPT nVidia's. I was told that when the game first came out it wouldn't even run on non-nV hardware.

Actually, it ran very well on my Matrox G200 Marvel PCI when it first came out.

Needed one hell of get a beast to a decent game out of it but still, it worked!
