  • Pixelshading problem with new Parhelia driver

I'm having problems with new Parhelia driver. While playing Morrowind the water looks weird... It looks like broken ice, with no ripples. Anyone else having similar problems?
BTW, FPS got boosted somewhat, so I don't want to go back to the old driver

Yup. same seen here. Also Haig has mentioned on the Matrox TS forums that they have seen it too, and recognised it as a bug. Apparently they just noticed it too late as the drivers were going up... For now, just turn pixel shaders off in the setup menu (the "options" choice from before you start the game up, not the one during...)

Thanks, it's good to hear Matrox is aware of this. I guess I have to wait for the next driver...

If one kicks up the water resolution in the INI and plays the game with Pixel Shaders on, you can identify desktop icons and their captions upon the water. Background images may also be seen.

        Somehow Morrowind renders your desktop!

That may be a reason why so many people say it's so slow...
