Rise of Nations lock ups.

Anyone else with a Parhelia having lockups during multi-player games with Rise of Nations? It never locks up on me in single player, but always in Multi-player. I've tried just about everything known to man to get it to work without crashing.

We had a LAN party where we played RoN quite much.

We were 5-6 players in our games, and two of us suffered extensive problems.

One of them would drop as early as 5 min into the game, usually when someone reached Age II. Sometimes everyone would crash when reaching a new age.

Then we had an other bug, when a certain player would resign, the game would crash for everyone, and it was always when he resigned and was server.

When we moved the serving from his comp to mine, we got less crashes, but still at least one per game, unless it was a short Age II/III rush game, who usually went fine to the end.

There are a patch available upon entering the Internet part of the game, but I'm not downloading a huge patch five times on 56k.
The morons have not made it available on the net, where I could use my satellite to get it at 120k/s.

It is available on the net now. But it didn't help my lock up. It seems to me that as soon as I run the program, my computer jumps 20 degrees. I wish I had another video card to test in my system with this, but I just have the Parhelia. I've even tried going back to the 1.03.x drivers. I hope they fix these bugs soon, I very much like this game.
