I knew I was missing something simple.
I had seen the marker on the floor using sense, but I didn't look up high enough on the doorto see that one
Thanks. Now I've finished the demo, and am gonna have to start over with a different type of sabre

When I played through both missions, I went with the good old single sabre.
I have since given both other styles brief tries, and am leaning toward the dual sabres, mainly because you can't throw the double edged sabre. However, the single sabre still has the advantage of 3 attack styles, where the dual sabres locks you into one style. I think I'll have to wait for the full game and some on-line dueling to make my final choice...

            Wah! Wah!

In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship.

I dled the full game, installed it then uninstalled it and deleted it from my machine. I definitely won't be buying it as it just isn't my kind of game. Very pretty it is though.

You are correct. I seem to get nauseous about half an hour into playing them. From the days of Quake 1 this has been happening. Plus I prefer to just go in and start fighting, none of the preamble bull. Played the demo of NHL2004, and may very well buy that when it comes out.

Indeed, the single style using 2 sabers is quite limiting, but the "wow" effect still gets me every now and then.

I also agree with the dueling, we will have to see how it goes in the full game.

Yeah, got a hunch when I saw your post in the HL2 thread.

You aren't the only one Denty. Though for Star Wars games, I tend to try and make an effort.

Third person games are (usually, 97%) fine for me. But I've had this problem for a LONG time now.

I get the motion sickness problem with most FPS game's default settings. Turning off the 'headbob' (sometimes called 'viewbob' or just 'bob') solves it for me though.

Tried it. Works sometimes. Sometimes doesn't. Bit of a hit or miss for me. It's not so much the bob, it's a flat 3D environment that's telling me visually that I'm moving, but my other senses going "No, no you're not" and then getting sick.

Had this prob since Mercenary on the Amiga. And there was most certainly no bob on that game.

Thanks for the heads up anyway Kruz.

Felt sick 5 minutes into UT of all things, usually takes me around half an hour. I had to go retch. Will try the headbob thing and see if that helps. I like UT (and UT2k3) even though I suck
