That was quite entertaining in the least. I was speaking of the whole Star Trek thing at work the other day. I do think that (with the possible exceptions of video games which I'm sure could be coming out forever...) the Star Trek franchise is at it's end. I don't think any of the NG crew is willing to make another movie, DS9 finished in the series, as did Voyager, and Enterprise I've never even watched, but is still in syndication. What else really can they do? The movie side of things is definitely over with.
Now back more on topic, if he's going to DevRel, does that neccesarily mean that surround gaming is out? In my eyes that could be a good thing (perhaps we can get some more driver updates....) Not to mention doesn't that also include him being in relations with developers from other companies? Which would be the same as what ROM has been doing. Getting in touch with the game developers and having them add Surround Gaming to their software.
But of course I could be TOTALLY wrong in this. It just seems to me that he's just not in Tech Support anymore, which does NOT mean that Surround Gaming is dead.
