  • Textures of Battlefield 1942

Anyone else having some 'problems' with the textures of BF1942?

On my pc, like the systems of my friends, the ground textures become "blurred" while moving (not sure if this is the right word), not just on my Parhelia (all drivers, all versions of the game with and without addons), it happens on two systems with Radeon 8500, one with Geforce 2 Pro and one with Geforce 4 Ti 4200 too.
I also tried different texture settings in the game and different filters in the drivers, doesn't help.
(Perhaps it's a problem of the mip-mapping in the game?)

I don't know if you guys can imagine the problem, but everyone who has it on his system knows what I mean I think.
It really doesn't look very nice , perhaps a little bit like software rendering, even with trilinear+anisotroph running.

Perhaps this is the normal behavior of the game, but this could not be the intention of EA.

I haven't seen a system without this problem yet, but I also never read about this problem or something like that.

Anyone else seeing ugly blurred textures in BF1942?

    Thanx for any reply
