Yeah but it runs like ass. The game is a major resource hog.

Same problem with small grey blocks here. Not my type of game anyway, also has a certain feeling of console games.

I'm not getting the blocks. It's a bit slow on my Ti200 (OC to 500) though.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

The official game states that there are problems with the Catalyst 3.8 drivers (if I recall correctly, it IS 5:14am here...)

The demo didn't work at all on my Radeon 7500. I played it at my friend's house with a 9700 pro - it seems fine. I would agree that the interface seems console-like, but otherwise the demo seems pretty good. When I upgrade my video card soon I'll be getting this game.

                        Taken from the readme.rtf :

                        2. ATI specific issues
                        a. Deus Ex: Invisible War will not run properly on ATI cards using the Catalyst 3.8 drivers. We specifically do not support these drivers with the game. Running the game while using these drivers will cause graphical corruption in-game, and eventually will cause a crash.
                        b. While the game will run properly on the 3.7 drivers, we strongly recommend updating to the Catalyst 3.9 drivers on the ATI site.
                        c. When running with the 8500 card, the movies and intro screens are slightly distorted. This does not affect anything else in game.
                        d. If you change the “Multisampling” setting to anything but “1X” you will experience graphics corruption.

                        System Requirements

The minimum system requirements are as follows:

COMPUTER: IBM PC or 100% compatible
OPERATING SYSTEM: Microsoft™ Windows 98SE/2000/XP (95/NT not supported)
CPU: Intel Pentium® 4 1.3 GHz (or AMD Athlon ™ equivalent)
                        RAM: 256Mb
GRAPHICS: 100% DirectX 9.0 compatible 32 MB * (see below for support cards)
SOUND: Windows 98SE/2000/XP compatible Sound card (100% DirectX 9.x compatible)
                        CD-ROM: Quad-speed (4x) CD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE: 2GB free disk space
INPUT DEVICES: 100% Windows 98SE/2000/XP mouse and keyboard

The recommended system requirements are as follows:

                        CPU: Intel Pentium® 4 1.5Ghz (or AMD Athlon™ equivalent)
                        RAM: 512 MB
                        GRAPHICS: 100% DirectX® 9.0 compatible 3D Card w/ 64 MB
SOUND: Windows 98SE/2000/XP compatible Sound card (100% DirectX® 9.x compatible)
                        CD-ROM: Eight-speed (8x) CD-ROM drive or faster.
HARD DRIVE: 2GB free disk space

                        * Supported Chipsets – nVidia GeForce 3Ti/4Ti/Fx (MX series not supported). Radeon 8500/9XXX or higher. (Pixel/Vertex shader required)

I have found (with my retail version) that turning off "Bloom"
and leaving AA at 1x eliminates the graphics corruption, but man, does this game run poorly......hopefully the planned patch will be out soon.

                        P.S.
I use a Radeon 9800 Pro AIW (Catalyst 3.9 w/hotfit) , 512MB RAM, and a P4 o/c to 3.00GHz.....and I thought that my machine would be able to run this game!

I hope this is sorted by the final release otherwise I might be forced to get it for the xbox instead as it runs very poorly on my system.
