UT2004 and voice chat

It appears that there are some problems with voice chat in the game.
I'm able to transmit voice that others can hear, but not vice-versa.
What has been you expierence?
I'll post my settings later. I'm sure we can solve the problems, if we can get the settings right

Apparently it's not me having problems

I figured the best way to test this was on my home LAN. I installed my other copy of the game , on my #2 machine and fired up the test_server on #3. I copied my user.ini & UT2004.ini from #1 to #2.
I discovered there are no problems sending or receiving voice on either machine.
On #1, I have a Logitech USB headset, but I'm only using the mic. Sound out is from TB Santa Cruz, to 4 speakers.
On #2, I used a regular mic into TB Santa Cruz and 2 speakers out.

For those others having problems, you can test your mic functionality, in Windows, using Sound Recorder. In game, you must, hold down the Activate Microphone key, the whole time you are speaking.
