New SG game ... KumaWar

Hi Guys,
Here's one that I think is just great ! .... 8) 8) 8)
It's a game called KUMAWAR ...( from what I can work out ) you download the basic game and then add missions as they bring them out.... of course you will have to pay.
It is single or multiplayer ... it looks like it is based on the Line of Sight Vietnam & Deadly Dozen games .... a couple of the BEST Surround Games !!!
Infact if you like SG and haven't tried them you are missing out.... :shock:

So to get it working in surround just ...
Right click on the shortcut and select 'Properties'
At the end of the line marked 'Target', add the following: "-w 3072 -h 768" or "-w 2400 -h 600"

Nice! I think I need to start getting more games that support it, after all, I Do have the three monitors... Did someone ever get Raven Shield to display correctly?

Raven shield ... from what I know was never really sorted for SG ... It would do the wide aspect ratiouuu but the FOV was too zoomed.

Hum downloaded this game, installed it but can't play it. Have to have an online account (i really hate this if you just want to play it locally)

So I tried to register online but I got a java error (they are running on tomcat in stead of a real java application server ;-) ) Like i'm doing for my work.

My game isn't working now either ... It only had a life of 7 days from when they released it.... as it was a beta ... I didn't realise.

To get it working locally I used the KumaWar.exe NOT the Launch.exe.

Their web site isn't very clear ... the full game is supposed to be out this week .... ? ... for FREE with several missions... then each month they will release new missions for $9.99.

You don't have to play online ... you can play single player.

I hope this helps/clarifies things ... but as I say their web site isn't too clear ... however their Online tech support is excellent.

Let me know if you get it working....
