Ok ... it seems that there is something wrong with my instructions above ....

Using the UT2004 .... NvidiaLogo.ut2 (in your Maps folder) you will just end up with a grey/black disk without a logo.
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong ... may be Kruzin could enlighten me. .....

That said ... if you change the UT2004 .... NvidiaLogo.ut2 .... and replace it with the UT2003 NvidiaLogo.ut2.... you will get your logo/photo after following the instructions.

I found this because I accidentally deleted/overwrote my UT2004 ... NvidiaLogo.ut2 and had to use the 2003 one....
DukeP has since kindly sent me his 2004 one so I didn't have to reinstall ... and this is of course how I found things not to be quite right.....

          Sorry for the confusion !

              Hi Duke,
Glad it worked ... I actually prefer the old UT2003 intro logo ... it works better across 3 screens.

              Cheers,

                Paddy, your instruction confuse me.
                Here's what I did.
                1. make a 512x512 image (of whatever you want your logo to be). Save it as a .tga

                2.Fire up the unread editor.

3.go to the texture editior and open NvidiaLogo_T.utx

4.go to the file menu and select 'import'

                5. choose the .tga file from step 1

                6. when you see the 'import texture' dialog, use these options:
                Package: NvidiaLogo_T
                Group: (leave blank)
                Name: PlaySeal_T

This will replace the exising 'PlaySeal_T' texture with the new one, and will also replace the 'PlaySeal_S' at the same time.

                7. right click on PlaySeal_T, and select properties

                8. expand the +texture section, and change LODSet to LODSET_Interface

                9. close the texture propeties window

                10. Save the .utx file over the old one

                11. frag on!

                :P

                  Hi Kruzin,
                  Thanks for the info ...
                  I'll give it a go.

The way I did it only seems to work if you use the old UT2003 NvidiaLogo.ut2 .... and finding that out as I say was out of necessity as I overwrote the one from UT2004....

It was my first ever look/play with Unreal Editor .... I am really enjoying it ...
It would be really good fun to edit/change the actual 3D model ... a lot of learning to do !

                  Thanks again .......
