  • Favorite UT2004 play mode? [MU]

    So what's your preference?

    Personally I like Onslaught.
    A LOT.
It fosters teamplay more than anything I've played since good old HL:TFC.
More co-ordinated defence is needed, and I just love the 2-5 player vehicles (Goliath, Hellbender, Leviathan).

Deathmatch and CTF have gotten somewhat old for me. Been doin that since the days of Quake. Don't mind a session of these once in a while.

Double Domination is OK. A bit chaotic for my taste. I'll play it, but I won't go out of my way to find a game.

Assault...bout the same as Double Dom.

Bombing run. Eh. It reminds me of a HL mod (the name escapes me ATM) that I didn't care for that much. I generally avoid these.

The others, I haven't really tried...

I find myself loading up an Onslaught map more often than anything else. I'm even working on my own ONS map at the moment.
A couple very early shots of ONS-Sandbox...

Yup, onslaught....It's the only game where I can satisfy my "road warrior" appetites.

I only have the demo but ons truely rocks. It is so much fun. Now all I need to do is communicate with my teammates better and all will be well.

I really dig the terror and concept of Invasion ...

although the other new modes are nice too, I must admit
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

CTF used to be my favourite in the original UT by far, but now i've become an Onslaught man as well It's the most fun and least stressful.

BTW. I'd really like to play a game or two with MURCers. The server is there ... only thing missing are the people!
