  • Medal of Honor ..... ?

    Hi guys,
I seem to remember that Medal of Honor would do the Surround resolutions but the FOV was too zoomed in ...

Can anyone tell me how to get the Surround Resolutions ?
I think it was some edit of the unnamedsoldier.cfg ... but there are no resolutions in mine ... I'm not sure what I am doing wrong ... any ideas ?

If I can get SG resolutions I may be able to get Dave at ToCA EDIT to do us a FOV hack tool.

    Cheers,
    Paddywak

I believe that MOHAA uses the Quake 3 engine? So you could just use the standard seta commands from the console.
    Main: Dual Xeon LV2.4Ghz@3.1Ghz | 3X21" | NVidia 6800 | 2Gb DDR | SCSI
    Second: Dual PIII 1GHz | 21" Monitor | G200MMS + Quadro 2 Pro | 512MB ECC SDRAM | SCSI
    Third: Apple G4 450Mhz | 21" Monitor | Radeon 8500 | 1,5Gb SDRAM | SCSI

Thanks KeiFront ... but I'm sure that is not how I got the surround resolutions 12-18 months ago..... and I don't know what those seta commands are.

Like I say I'm sure the way I did it before was something to do with the unnamedsoldier.cfg ... may be I have to run a mission first ...

      Any other suggestions ?

        Hi!

Open file "newconfig.cfg" and delete line "seta r_mode 4" or similar. Then open file "unnamedsoldier.cfg" and add these lines:

        seta r_mode -1
        seta customaspect 1
        seta r_customwidth 3072
        seta r_customheight 768

I have tried different fov commands also, but they doesn't seem to make any difference. So, it would be awesome, if they can make some sort of camera tool at TOCA EDIT.

          Hi Mikko ...

That's just what I was looking for....
Leave it with me ... I'll see if I can persuade Dave to have a go at making us a FOV tool.
