  • MURC Mountain States LAN (MMSL), v3.0

August 7, 2004. Southwest Denver, Co. area.
Any and all MURCers are invited to what will most likely be a modest LAN party of 15-20 gamers.
Games to be played yet to be determined. UT 2004 and Battlefield 1942 likely to happen. Any other suggestions welcome.

This gig will go down at a non-murcin buddy's house (Garri, for those of you who have met him at a previous MMSL). Game server, tables, chairs, and a router ready to go.you would need your full rig, a LAN cable (and a few hubs/switches depending on the # of ppl), and a powerstrip. Headphones highly preferred over speakers.

    LET'S FRAG!!!

PM me for details if ya wanna come...

Guess that depends on how close Garri gets to a puter... he's like that random lightning strike on a clear day that scientists can't explain

We might be able to hook up on the MURC server, or host a game you can get into. We'll have to give it a try.

And yea...Garri is one of those freaks of nature that kills electroncs just be standing close to them. At our last MURC LAN party, every rig in the house was down within 3 mins of him walking into the house :P

That was too funny especially considering what happened the night before

Well, no wonder I forgot that. That's normal for any time I see him.

That's normal too. He's something of a night owl. If ya don't kick him out, he'll stay all night....which makes him a good LAN host. He'll go all weekend if we want
Just have to set up in a diff room than him...

umm... I can't make it there.

there's something small and more like demo party at the same time at the Helsinki.

you might have heard about it, it's called The Assembly 2004.

sorry, I couldn't resist. In any case, it does not really matter if you have 2700 or 20 computer places, as long as you are having a good time.

Last I checked I was due to start some serious training (and thus field time) on Aug 7th, otherwise I would... not really sure how everything is going to pan out...
