    Athens 2004 returns to desktop

    Anyone tried this game ;-(

    Again a game that won't work on our parhelia i'm getting really sick of this, all the time you need to change the game / your pc etc. to get a game working on this doomed card.

    I've tried it with the latest driver and also with the ancient directx 9 driver beta bullshit thing.

      I've downloaded a new patched file but sadly no sigar, don't know why (hope matrox driver engineers can fix it but I don't have that much confidence in them.

      Downloading flatout at the moment will try if that works oke.

          You know they used to be OPEN for the weekends for browsing, but now they close the whole thing up so you can't even browse it. Which makes NO sense...

          I had to laugh at a friend of mine. He was trying out Men of Valor on his Parhelia, and while it would load, it'd crash right after it got into the game.... so he was whining that he needed a new video card, but couldn't really afford it at the moment... well, he had ordered some ram (he had 512mb and he ordered another 512mb.) Well, he had to take the Parhelia out so that he could insert the new RAM. When he put the card back in and booted up, there was no video coming from his PC... I wasn't around to test anything out on it, and he had tried reseating it several times, but he couldn't get it to work, so he went out and bought a eVGA 6800 GT..... same card I currently have. Now he's hating the 2D display (as I am). Meh, that's what he gets for saying he was going to get a new one.... so beware when you say your card sucks....

            Thats funny ... Men of Valor runs very well on my Parhelia and i love both of my Parhelia's very much.
