You finished the game, but didn't run all the races.
Go to the garage, and to the world map. From there, you can look back at the races in previous stages, and run the ones tagged 'not completed'. If yer lucky, you'll find some races that unlock what you're missing...

I have been determined to run every single race before I move on to the next stage. This now includes the street outrun races, which I learned unlock special 'unique' items. I found out too late tp get the stuff in stage2, but finished stage3 with my new profile last night, and got a special engine upgrade, and a set of rims not normally available.
I also ran every world event, hidden event (that I could find), and SUV event, even though I didn't need to to get past the stage. Made for a pretty buffed out ride for just starting stage4

Cheerz Kruzin I think towards the end the game gets way too easy, you can win races without even breaking the sweat.

Is there any way to sell a car? I had a pretty tweaked out Tiburon, and I wanted to replace it with a Supra, but it doesn't give me any credit for giving back the Tiburon. Seems a little unfair.

Yea, that sux. As far as I can tell, you can trade in a car, but you loose everything you put into it. It'd be nice if you could get something back...

            w00t !

I finally won that downhill drift ...

I used my brand new sparkling RX-8 and thanks for the lower sytle points, I only needed 175000 points.

For the setup, I used basically the same as in other racing setup, ie. hard and low with maximum acceleration, but this time I chose the bumper cam instead of the default follower cam and instantly drifted a lot more efficiently !!!

Now I need more money to spice up that RX-8 ...

Btw, before trading an old car, you have the option to put in back to standard parts, but I have no idea if you could use the special parts for a different car.

I managed 283,000 points on the downhill with my Miata. I had one single drift of nearly 90,000 points. This car kicks ass on drift events.

Did one of nearly 120.000 points. It said "Drift King"

Whoa! I just saw that on the longest organic drift on stage 5 i had scored 449.000 points....
