    yeah. can HL2 do anything like that?

    Wow, I think that's the only way to introduce fun (and bright colors) into Doom3.
    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

        Bah, I played defender on an in-game arcade console in Gloom Deluxe (a Doom clone) on my Amiga 1200 (14 MHz '020+ 50 MHz '882, 10 MB RAM.)

          Bah, my buddy has a real Defender arcade machine in his garage. ... and he's the pin-ball wizard on that baby.

            You know, I've played and own a copy of HL2, FarCry, Doom3 but; I still had way more fun playing through Painkiller than any of the others.
