I simply think it a bit too much of a coincidence that they ceased production after this particular game, after all, they were one of the most successful gaming companies ever and they weren't exactly going through a dry spell...well, we'll see, hopefully there'll be more C &C fun in the future, though I think EA have dropped the ball lately with some franchises, I particularly didn't care much for the recent NFS games.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

I own most of these, but i will probably buy the DVD.
I wasted many day playing these.
Oh, and I also completed Dune 2 without cheating. Yes you got nuked repeatedly but the trick was to place the building that you *knew* would be hit away from everything else. I loved that game.
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

Was really C&C:Generals made by Westwood?
It didnt feel as they had (I always thought that EA hired some other studio to do a "official" C&C clone and didnt get the feeling right)

          Anyone here tried Free CNC?
This is a free implementation of the Command & Conquer Game Engine, which supports the original C&C graphics and audio. It's based on the SDL lib and highly portable, so FreeCNC is available on OS/2 (eComStation), MacOS,...
Download FreeCNC for free. A free engine for C&C Tiberian Dawn. FreeCNC is a reimplementation of the classic real time strategy game Command & Conquer.

              got it yesterday

Says "only winxp" on the box but works great in w2k

the bonus dvd is really disapointing

I was hoping for all the ingame vids in dvdres but no you only gets to see glimpses during the interviews

Otherwise its a great collection of games
