Well I can always hope that maybe, just maybe it will be halfway decent. I guess I have to wait and see the screen shots and the gossip.

I know its probably not gonna be as good as the original stuff from Westwood, but something better than Generals would be really really nice!

EA disbanded and fired the Westwood staff (save for a few developers that got shipped off to other projects) and killed the Westwood name. There is no Westwood subsidiary within EA. EA only wanted the franchise in hopes to milk the name for some money. I have no hope for anything beyond a run-of-the-mill RTS for C&C3.

At least I get Supreme Commander this year.

I did not really like C&C, to be honnest.

I thaught Total Annhilation (and the 3 packs) was much better. played it for years (as a multiplayer - BSR (some guy) did a thing called the Uberhack - a masterpeice of rewriting the COBs (the models)
