how did you like Most Wanted after all ?

I only played the demo of Most Wanted. To be honest, I didn't like NFSU2. The first one was good, but I didn't like the second one. Most Wanted appeared to have a lot more promise. I'm about due for a new racing game

aside from the fact that EA dropped support for MW after the 1.3 patch, despite there are still some issues such as intermittant stuttering and occasional crashes to desktop with a c++ error ...

Most Wanted was the most entertaining NfS installment that I put my hands on ... in fact I found myself cruising through Rockport for 1.5 hours being trailed by the cops, playing hide and seek with them, always trying not to loose them completely, bumping them into obstacles, making dramatic u-turns or even 360's to confuse them ... what a blast ...

for me Underground 2 had one major advantage over Underground 1 and that was free roaming through the city in online mode, for that I used the Outrun game mode, but made sure I didn't loose my friends, so that we could stick together and make some silly speed records drafting over the highways into the city

therefore I was really expecting Most wanted to offer free roaming as well, but it didn't ... until we found a few backdoors in regular online races where we could leave the regular track and cruise all over the place instead ...

so if you get a chance to grab Most Wanted for cheap, go for it and drop me a note !

I'm playin NFSP Most Wanted (Black Editions OoOOoOoOhh ) at the moment, and I enjoy it. Its a bit hard with keyboard controls, but I can't wait till I'm driving that Porsche Carrera GT . I'm riding that hidious Gold Lexus from Blacklist Number 14.
It's the first NFS Game that I've played.

I am unsure if I can play this version online thou...

PS: I also have the black edition, but a week after I purchased it, I found a little tool that converts the regular edition to BE and therefore I could have saved quite a few bucks from importing it from the US ...
