  • Prey Demo!

Just tried out the demo - REALLY cool! Based on the doom3 engine, so even with an aging system you can play it.

This demo is definitely worth the download. I hated Doom3, this game puts good use to the engine. there are some suprising twists to this game. I don't want to spoil anything so get to downloading!
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

I played the demo over the weekend. I nearly got sick a few times walking up and down those walls, it's a tad bit disconcerting. I can't wait to see some of the other weapons that they have when the full version comes out. Definately worth the ~450MB download.
      Go Bunny GO!

Enjoyable and different single player. The orientation changing could make for some seriously good and different multiplayer. I need to try that tonight. Imagine having a deathtrap overhead and having the orientation flipped. The teleporter boxes that seamlessly switch you between areas and can even reflect you back, etc . . . . I know I saw somnething similar somewhere before but they never became widely used. Freaking sweet! Getting ideas for a tessaract(sp?) level.

Wasn't Prey supposed to be out back almost 10 years ago?
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

It was something that I tested once that was fairly stable even on Win9x. I keep thinking Unreal but I am not sure.
