    Quake Wars

    There are some pics at Shack News and man it looks good, however...

    1-Some screenshots looked like maps from Battlefield 2

    2-Another map looked like a scene from Halo

    3-Another map looked like a scene from Doom 3

    4-And lastly there are hints of Unreal Tournament.

    WTF?

    Though looks better, but not innovative, when the demo comes out I will check it out and report.

    Anything would be better than the craptastic pile of doggie doo that was Quake 4.

      What exactly was wrong with Quake 4? I loved the SP.

        Bah. It was... I dunno. Boring? Halo's SP was more interesting, and that's saying something. It just seemed totally contrived, the enemies were stupid... *shrug* maybe I have high expectations.

          I really liked it, it was more of a back to basics, the kind I enjoy. Games like HL2 piss me off, you don't spend enough time just killing

          The graphics were great, the gameplay as solid as any game out there, and I loved the vehicles.

          Quake Wars ET demo comes out Monday.

            Oh I'm sure as hell looking forward to QWET. Wolf:ET still occupies top spot on my online gaming roster!

            But if you search back to when Quake4 was new, you'll most likely find my rant about why it sucked balls. I've forgotten why I hated it so much to be honest.

              QWET demo out now, haven't tried it yet, might get around to it tonight.

                I tried the new demo and it was well...horrible, It was limited but nothing in comparison to Battlefield 2 or 2142.

                The funny thing is, QWET is exactly like BF2, I mean exactly like it with poor graphics.

                This was a small download, maybe the full game will be better.
