  • TH2G Gaming?

    I have a triplehead2go analog I believe...

    with (3) 19" LCD's

    8800GT 1024meg Nvidia

    E4300 Overclocked to 3.2

I'm having issues being able to get Battlefield 2 to run in 3screen, any help?

I would also like Battlefront II to work in 3Screen but it squishes the screen.

I hope I posted in the right area... if not, moderator please move the post for me.

    thanks in advance.

Unfortunately BF2 is one of the few games I don't think I have heard of anyone getting to work, I'll see if I can find out if thats true, and why, for you.

    From what I hear, if...
    a) the game doesn't support a widescreen resolution (either by changing it in the settings or manually changing to a custom res)
    or
    b) the game doesn't have a way to change FOV (field of view)
    and
    c) it's not on Matrox's supported games list
... then there's not much you can do.

    I'm fairly sure BF2 can't do a,b, or c.

    Not sure about Battlefront II.

This is what [H]ardOCP had to say about Battlefield 2142 (I assume its the same for BF2, as it is practically the same game):
Battlefield 2142 does not support widescreen resolutions. In-game the highest we could select was 1600x1200. We tried to manually edit the “Video.con” file, which holds the resolution settings, and forced 3840x1024 but upon launching the game it would continually crash to the desktop. Therefore if Battlefield 2142 is your game, you will not receive an improvement to the gameplay experience with the TripleHead2Go module.

Widescreen Gaming Forum is probably the best place for searching any Surround Gaming solutions.
