Blizzard 2008 Invitational - new game?

StarCraft II was announced at last year's Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, South Korea, so it may not be completely off-base to speculate that the company could follow suit this year, and reveal its upcoming "next-generation MMO" at the Paris event.

June 28th and June 29th.

I think I remember reading that their next game would be based in a completely new world, but there's still a chance it might be Diablo3. I would hate to see it be another MMO though - I don't think a MMO could handle the massive clickfest that a new Diablo game ought to be. And I WILL NOT play an MMO.

it is not like they have a whole lot of titles to make into an MMO.. maybe they will make something completely new?

Yeah, if I was a betting man, I'd say something completely new.

A Starcraft MMO could be REALLY cool though...

I really hope that that release Diablo 3 then. Just imagine Diablo with breath taking graphics, running in wide screen mode, 5.1 sound and.... well, the rest doesn't need any improvements I would say
That would be a reason to upgrade my PC

may have to buy a mouse with auto clicking abilities, to not wear out your clicking finger with a new diablo game

Indeed, Diablo always required a quite durable mouse
