Quake3test timedemo

I cant get it to work, it goes thru the
demo but I dont see any fps reading
at the end of it. It just returns to
the main menu.
I type timedemo 1 then it says
timedemo is cheat protected
then I type demo q3testdemo1.dm3

How you guys are getting
this to work ?

Just pull the console back down and you should see a reading.

Make sure you run the demo from the menu options screen. You get the cheat protected mesage if you start a server to do the demo. And yes, after the demo runs bring the console back down to see the fps rating. Hope this helps.

Ok that worked by the way on my G200
with all features turned on and textures
turned down one notch from max. 640x480 res
16bit color, 16bit zbuffer
I got this 1653 frames,114.45sec, 14.5fps

NT4/Sp5, PIII-450 (is Q3 using SSE?)
256megs of ram.
