    G400 and Expendable OEM

    Hello there,

    I just bought an G400 - 16MB.
    I installed Expendable - OEM version wich
    came with an Creative Labs 3D Blaster Savage4
    But I can't see any Env. Bump mapped things on the screen, and yes Bump mapping is turned on in the game.
    I downloaded the Env. Bump mapping inspection
    tool from Matrox, and all is fine.

    So is this a problem with Expendable or just
    the version I got of Expendable.

    I believe that the only out-of-box support for Bump mapping is with the version shipped with G400s - I don't know about the full retail version of Expendable...

      There are 2 ways to get embm in Expendable:

      Either with european retail or with bundled G400 versions.

      For european retail, we should release the patch pretty soon. Unfortunately it won't work on any version including OEM version which came with your Creative Labs,

          Is the European version English? When will the demo be available that includes EMBM?

          My Packurd bell 166Megahurtz runnin at 233 on a ABIT ITH5 muther board,
          128MB EDO ECC RAM and a hole bunch of other cool stuff.

            Did you try using the oem version that came with the G400? I have the same board and I have not been able to get the full version of expendable to work even thought the "lite" version from ATI and the demo work fine.

              Hi Ozric,

              I only get the driver disk with my G400.
              It's the G400 16 MB - OEM. Not the retail.
              What a bummer.....
              I guess I wanted it so bad... :-)

              A friend of mine has got Expendable, but only the OEM version........ That's why I post this here.....
              damn, I want a Bump mapping thing 2 show off with my G400.... :-)

                Bummer about not having the G400 version. I did finally manage to get it to work for me though.
