  • G200 VS. G400 in D3D?

Has anyone compared G200 against G400 in D3D games played in 800x600 or 1024x720 in 16 and 32 bit colours? I saw lots of posts re. ICD but not D3D performance. I am curious because I only play D3D games and with PD 5.13 they all look pretty darn quick. Thanks in advance for your responses.

The difference is dramatic. Most D3D games I have run much better on the G400. Look basically the same though.

G400 is definately faster in comparison to the G200 in Direct3D. Unreal @ 640x480 gets constantly 10fps faster than my Millenium G200. Both in 32bit colour. (I'd run the game at higher resolutions, but all I got is an aging 14" monitor /w crappy refresh rates). Again, the image quality looks the same, though perhaps a slight more colourful with the G400.
