I'm currently playing Unreal with the
2.25f patch installed.
The game runs great, except that I have
to turn off the "Volumetric Lighting",
because when it's on, there are severe
problems with parts of the graphics:
Some texture surfaces are just black, or
gray, or the whole view goes black (like in the ventilation shaft out of the very first
room) The volumetric graphic effects don't
seem to work correctly.
Is there a way to run Unreal with G200
with volumetric lighting on ? Is's a shame
to lose all those cool effects...
My System:
AMD K6-2 350 (o/c from 300)
ASUS P5A (bios 1007)
128 MB RAM
Sound Blaster 16 (ISA slot)
Millenium G200 8MB (bios 2.6 with 4.33c drivers)
Hyundai 15 Pro
Windows 98
(Note: I'm stuck with the 4.33c drivers
because with the new 5.13 OGL drivers
my system refuses to work, but that's
another issue... 4.51 drivers in turn
give corrupted textures in some games, so
4.33 it is, and other than this, I have
no problems)
