  • FF7 question, anyone still play this?

I just dug it up from the pile on my desk and I was wondering if there was any patch to get it to support D3D or any 3drenderer.

I think the guy may be having trouble related to palletted textures.. I remember this being a problem when the G200 first appeared and I'm pretty sure somebody reported it with the G400 not so long back... I'll have a look through my mail and these forums and get back to you...

Sorry - can't find anything - I think we must have lost some forum posts...

There is a D3D patch for TNT that deals with palletted textures. I think that your Matrox card will run FF7 fine with that.

FFVII works perfectly for me with PD 5.13 and 4.33(no patches), I only get paletted textures with PD 4.51.

Hey, thanks I didn't know it had d3d support out of the box, Silly me, I had software rendering selected instead of hardware.
