  • BIG problems with my Matrox Millenium G400

    Hello!

The problem is when trying to use a flight simulator called FLY. The ground flickers and the terrain acts very odd. I have tried downloading the latest driver without any luck in FLY. I use 1024*768 resolution in 32 bit, and 72 hz on my MAG DX15F monitor. Any hints?`

    PLEASE HELP
    Michael Cedergren

Have you tried toggling the 32-bit z-buffer?

No I have not tried that. Will check if that is the problem. As it is now it is unchecked.

Actually what he's experiencing is lack of mip-mapping, we made sure trilinear is on with Fly!, go back to graphic options and do detect card, it will properly use the g400.vcf that we provided. Make sure you set back to DX6 compatible and your resolution and hopefully you will have trilinear on,

        Regards,

No it did not work to within FLY change in the graphic setting from g400 to Directx 6 and make it completely good. Still the ground flickers a bit (not as much) and small "stair" looking objects flicker in the sky every now and then.

I mean I thought this was a good card. What is up with this actually

You say mip mapping trouble, do you have any other hints that can help, or do anyone else have any info that can help me
