G400 BIOS

Has anyone else noticed a serious decline in 3D performance after updating to the latest G400 BIOS? For some reason I have losst 10 FPS in Q3 test and I can only pin it down to this. I have tried evrything, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling windows, reinstalling Q3. I dont get. Something has gobbled up 30% of my gaming performance.

wow, weird.

Updating the g400 bios shouldn't really affect your game performance since all hardware acceleration, especially 3d, is done through the driver(s). The bios is used (and rarely used at that) for very simple things like adjusting/setting clock speeds, refresh rates, and basic vga functions such as the vesa extensions. Your slowdown could very well be attributed to something else.... but anything's possible.
