hmmmm, I'd join in except I think I'm gonna get my arse kicked judging by the system specs of you mob...
Look, I know you think the world of me, that's understandable, you're only human, but it's not nice to call somebody "Vain"!

        Maggi's right up there - it's unfair comparing PII's to PII's to K6's to K7's to 386s.

          Hey Zyn!
You're beaten. Now, what are your specs?
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Heres my spec sheet everyone's been waiting for, I tried those registry hacks from MURC but they didnt work, probably because of the fact that I messed around with the Matrox Monitor quite a bit.

I take it you folks are using Win98 and not NT? What might be some common things to look for if my scores are relatively low? Tried disabling vsync. Runnin G400 at 147 and P3 450 OC 600. Appreciate any feedback.

Looks like Air and cpld006 both took my score to a beating, but those registry hacks had to be modified, and now they work, I also found out AirGumby was running Cas2, and I had not been, so, with those modifications, I ran 3dmark99max again, with feeling...

                      SAY IT... ZYN OWNZ!!!
Repeat after me.. 5811 1024x768x16 16bit Zbuffer triple buffering,

                      you dont believe me? http://bongo.as.arizona.edu/~kevin/4.jpg

anyone else up to the challenge ?

Well lets see. I hope you get more then me. I mean you are on a PIII-600mhz, I'm using a PIII-581mhz.. as for the CAS2 and CAS3. It wouldn't change your score that much..

Your CPU marks are like 500 more points then mine.. That's the score you should of gotten in the beginning.

                            Hi airgumby,
you can delete those multiple posts, if you want to, it is a new feature on the forums, and is courteous to others that read the thread.

I'm also having difficutly seeing how 600Mhz p3 is so much better then p3 at 581, I should run mine at 581, see if they are similar.
                              5811, not bad! hehe! =)
Air - yes, the ram does do cas2 at 133..
and try deleting those posts, its probably some damn I.E. thing.. eeuuww

I have an AMD K6-2 350(3D Now! enabled) Viper V770 TNT2 135/160, 128 mb PC-100 RAM, 83 hz monitor refresh rate, I run my desktop at 1024x768@32bpp. I have a 5400 rpm hard drive I believe...V Sync disabled, 3D Now! instructions enabled, triple buffering, 800x600@16bpp and I only get about 2,374 marks. I closed all programs in background. I don't think thats normal, I expected at least 3000 something. Someone help me here!
