  • Q2 and G400Max

Nothing to important, but something that is bugging me nonetheless....

Q2 is way too dark (especially for multiplayer) and the brightness slide in the game options don't seem to help. Is there a way of changing the brightness of the 3D without changing the birghtness of my windows desktop?

    Thanks!

Personaly, I don't like IDGamma. It messes with too many things, and is a pain to get working if you play different mods.

I prefer to just add a few lines to quake's autoexec.cfg:

    set intensity "1.0"
    set vid_gamma "0.9"
    set gl_modulate "3.5"
    set gl_saturate "0"

These commands will let you adjust the lighting beyond what the game options allow, and are a lot simpler than IDgamma to get going...

          Use IDGamma. http://www.murc.ws/Driver/OpenGL/d3d_wrapper3.zip

This link is for the d3dwrapper for the matrox G200. DONĀ“T USE IT (opengl32.dll). In the zip file you will found IDgamma. Read the instructions and use it.
