  • g400 crashes Ubi's Racing Sim 2 @ 1024x768

With my new G400 (SG, 32 MB) I get occasional crashes in UbiSoft's Racing Simulation 2 (RS2), with the picture suddenly standing still, sound looping on and the computer totally knocked out, so I have to reboot. This happens rather often in 1024x768, which is my favourite res. It happens only rarely in 800x600, and almost never in other resolutions. Other games run perfectly well with the G400 (and it really rocks), so I guess it's the program rather than the card. (No problems in RS2 with my old TNT 1, though.) I tried the latest Matrox BIOS, latest drivers (5.15) -- but it remained the same. -- Anyone have any idea about this? Thanx.

I get exactly the same thing in the Re-Volt demo (full version not released yet). More likely some obscure driver issue than a problem with the program (worked fine on my g200)
