yet another stat ...

Hi Dudes,

I was thinking about having another different look onto our WU output and what came accross my mind was a chart about productivity ...

Have a look.

Unfortunately I have no clue how to collect those datas automatically and the HTML table was 'borrowed' from one of Martin's "effort lists" ...

So if you find this kind of ranking interesting and/or usefull, feel free do take care of it.

I found it rather interesting, because this gives a totally different view tha all other charts did.

What do you think ?

Whoa, Maggi.. are you looking at everybody here? My figure works out to be...

2124 units/1.49 years = 1425.5 WUs per CPU year.

Bet there are a few others you missed too..

Great stat idea though..

Sorry ... I only looked at the overall top twenty and while editing that stuff manually I figured I'd restrict it to seven entries to show the idea behind it ...

Do you know how painfull it is to type everything in and then port it manually to HTML format ?

So imagine that you're #2 in that list and hope that someone takes care of it for a weekly round up or something.

Oh well, the top 20 has been a very elusive goal for me.. always someone else pops up when I get there.. thats's why my output has been lagging lately.. not putting as much effort into it, since I seem cursed to never get there..

Hmm... WUs per CPU year should be called "Efficiency" rather than "Productivity", shouldn't it? I mean, it's a measure of how little time the machines used take to complete their WUs.

But by all means, let's get a weekly stat like that... anyone?

Kruse is right this realy is an average time stat! If you are planing to do one you have to check at least the top 350members!

This looks just like Martin's CPU time stats - but multiplied by CPU time. Martin did mention that he can create tables automatically I think from his stats scripts. I think we should wait until he is back before we make new stats decisions!

Indeed, Kruse ...

but to be honest, I was lacking that particular word and hence I thought 'productivity' would do it.

I won't have the time to maintain such a chart, but maybe Martin could extend his charts to that option ...
