I was getting real tired of these 60 hors + work units until i tried to run taskinfo 2000 while crunching a work unit.
What i discovered was that statemgr. aka. systemrestore aka. pchealt was taking up 98% of my CPU time while SETI 3.0 was running. No wonder Seti was taking 60 hours to crunch a work unit. So i killed the process and voila seti was back on it 4 h track.
Statemagr. has now been killed/removed from my Win ME installation.
If you want to know how to remove/uninstall Statamgr. take a look here http://www.3dspotlight.net/tweaks/windows/index.shtml
