I have one last idea for increasing it's efficiency but the real bottleneck is network bandwidth. I don't want to use to much. I'm currently using about 11KB per second 24/7 just for seti traffic to the seti servers. This doesn't include all the communication between the local systems. Right now I'm processing 900MB worth of seti data a day. That's equal to 3% of data that seti receives from the radio telescopes each day.

The Rnoggin team wasn't suppose to be a team for competition. It was simply a team that I could use to track my stats. That's why only one of my accounts are on the SUN team. It was fun blowing past Team AnandTech. I was hopping to once again give them a run but SGI has bumped up their production some.
