Well, by looking at Ees' stats at <a href="http://seti.matroxusers.com/">seti.matroxusers.com</a>, there are 288 members who have uploaded at least one unit for the past 7 days. Over half of the members are IDLE. Imaging just one unit per day consistantly from each of the non-active members and Seti@MURC gains 300+ units per day, 2100+ units per week, 9000+ units per month, and 108000+ units per year!!!!

Well, even if there's many idle accounts, all members of these aren't idle. Some has more than one account, while others has joined forces with someone else.
The only thing I will do with my idle account is to remove it, but I don't think that's your idea.

As for whole seti@home, there's more registered users that haven't returned a single result than there's active users for the last two weeks.
