      Thanks Ees,

I would love to crunch as fast as Rags. IMHO, he can't be using an Intel or AMD rig to get those times, unless he got his hands on a 2.5GHz PIV with 400MHz RDRAM...

I will not be able to afford anything faster than what I have for at least a few months, may be longer.

      ------------
Oops, I was looking at your first chart... But, Rags still has some fast times for any available Intel CPU.

Last time I heard, rags was running a highly overclocked intel box, with an older (I believe 1.x) version of the seti client. It was very dependent on the front side bus speed, and Rags has his cranked up to some ridiculous speed like 160MHz. Since the 2.x and 3.x clients don't get this kind of speed jump with higher FSB speeds, and the 1.x clients were cut off recently, rags won't be getting such good speed anymore. (This is all from my very bad memory, so someone correct me if I'm wrong)

3h 48m is nothing out of the ordinary.
          With a P3 750@1035MHz I'm getting between 3h 10m and 4h 42m on CLi 3.0.

Yahoo! I'm on the fastest crunchers list!

But I've recently added two (slower) machines:
              P3-550@616 112 FSB, 2-2-2 128MB PC100
Celeron 466 66 FSB 64MB (unknown RAM timings)

So they will slow down my avg. time, but the P3-550 is almost as fast as my P3-750@825. The celly takes about 12 hours, my P3-750 takes 4hrs-7hrs, P3-550 takes 5hrs-8hrs.
