  • ARGHH!!! What's that in my rear view mirror?? :)

    Oh No!

Congrats Sisyfos on an "eventual" takeover.

Let's just say that at double my output, it was bound to happen!

All in good fun. Keep on crunching!

It pays to be the admin.
    Well, kind of admin...
Admin enough to be assimilating anyway.

Let's see how long it lasts.

Yea, I'd noticed he was approaching you as well! He's moving away from us at a reasonable pace as well, guess I'll have to order up another few machines

It sure doesn't help that the 3-way Xeon is shutting down every night because of thermal issues in the lab!

During the State's Thanksgiving 4 day weekend, it crunched all of 3 units. Luckilly, I had a few other systems up to help keep our WU avg from going below 30 a day.

I lose it soon anyways, so I don't know if I will even take the time to reload W2K Adv. Server or not...

Does anyone know if System Agent will launch Seti at a specified time, and kill it at a specified time? If I could figure this out, I could probably run on a few co-workers machines at night.

In "scheduled tasks" in win2k, on the settings tab of a task's properties dialog, you can specify the task to run for a certain number of hours, or you can set it to run only when the machine is idle.

            AHHH!!!

            3 way Xeons??? No fair!

My fleet is comprised exclusively of family and friends... All PCs, some good (900MHz), some not so good (like mine, 400Mhz). We've got a ton of machines working, but I'm no Admin (Mech Eng student), so I can't always have the latest chunching machines.

Hey Pace Team, are you going to ramp up production soon too?? You were making a lot of ground a couple of weeks ago, but you've slowed down too... Must be that damn V3.0

Anyways, I'm still getting closer to my 25th position objective... Let's hope that I'll be able to keep production up and get that spot before you guys at Pace pass me...

Yea, V3 has certainly slowed me down a little! I waited until the very last minute before switching over

I'm losing a P3-500 tomorrow though (giving it to a customer for support purposes ), and gaining a Cyrix 300 or so, and another Celeron 633 by the weekend hopefully.

Hey Narc, I've been considering your offer of joining your team. Email me and let me know the details. I kind of like the idea of keeping ahead of everyone Bad news is, I can't change my email address so the current WU's stay. Let me know what you think.

You know, it's really Pace3000 you should be joining

                  Let me know Dave,

                    Dave,

Of course I'd still be delighted about a team fusion.

Unfortunately, I've got no UBB skills whatsoever and don't know how to get your e-mail or send/get a private message.

Please e-mail me (with your terms of agreement ):

And Paul, stay away you vulture, his WUs are mine (oups, OURS )! You'll never pass me!! MUHAHAHAHAhaha....
(so much for healthy competition )

Ok, ok, too much coffee, too little sleep...

My uncle calls me Fred. Completely pointless and irrelevant to what's going on but I felt it important, that me and Dave have no secrets between us, whilst engaging in this merger!

Hey my uncle calls me Fred too! What are the odds eh?

I can't blame you for wanting to work with Dave too, but there's so much people working on Pace3000 that's it's become anonymus as having a computer running Win NT.
Ok, exagerating just a bit there!

                        No hard feelings, as usual!

What? Not even when we get guru on our side?

                            Yes - that guru

Hehe, but we'll settle for our own Guru, he secretly admits he wants to join us to himself

It'll make us a strong team of top MURCers (and friends) - we've got myself and Jeepman, and we both have got other friends doing (well, I believe so).

                            So then Dave....???
