Currently new gui's for windows&mac is done. There's also a Sparc/Solaris 2.6-client.
Currently only awailable to beta-testers, but if nothing terrible pops up should be officially released soon. My guess, this week.
The only difference from last beta is to the new server code, so old clients shouldn't have any opportunity to contact Berkeley after the cut-off-date. The speed should wherefore be the same as beta 3.02, my guess around 65% slower than cmd-3.00.
Oh yes, the upgrade is forced:
"We will force an upgrade to 3.03, so either get them now or get them when they are official (i.e. linked to on the home page)."
Since the first cmd-client already is done, the porting to the other should go relatively fast.
