Welcome to the team, from one Dane to another.
Should be nice with some decent english at last

There's only one thing of paramount interest, but it's kind of long winded.
    It goes like this:
    Crunch fast and plenty

If you need anything else, just ask.

Let us know what CPU, operating system, what kind of RAM you have and which SETI@home version you are using and we can help you crunch SETI@home work units as fast as possible.

New question, is it correct that the client slows down, the more a wu has been crunched? Or is it simply because I dare to use my computer at the same time??

          Ok my specs are here:

I have installed v3.03 of the client.

Reboot your computer every couple of days. I reboot mine when resources fall below 65% when nothing is running in the background except Rain and my firewall.

Running other programs while using SETI@home will slow down SETI@home because it only uses extra CPU cycles. Also, using other programs will use up system resources because Windows refuses to give all of them back after you close a program.

Jord, just wondering, would it not have been easier to just copy and paste my source for your FAQ requester?

Jesper, nothing that you should really know besides the fact that we are here to help! Ant helps us out by promoting us and the small matter of running that site , SteveC created the team (well before I came about), Ees runs a great stats site and I run another great site, this one as a companion to Seti with guides to improving performance and utilising utilities from the forum guys (Guru in particular, but also thanks to Rattledagger, Martin (Ees) and Pace (me )!) - and you've obviously found the forum, which is helpful as well!

Hope you stick with us, and get Seti running on every machine you can possibly get your hands on

                    Regards,

                    Paul.
