  • I'm SOOO Happy Seti v3.03 came out!

SETI v3.03 came out so it would be easier on the servers over at berkeley.

So that this shit wouldn't happen.
Look at what I see in the mornings.

Im glad to see they got all their problems worked out over at SETI.

Incase you haven't hinted at my sarcasm.
    THIS SUCKS !!!

Servers down, but I have three days of WUs cached in case this happens.

Hmm, I think it may be a problem at Berkeley:

Looking at alt.sci.seti, it seems someone cut the cord between Berkeley campus and the Space Sciences Lab there Seti@home is located.
Oh well, while I'm waiting, I can do some Genome@home.

I think caching of WUs is a good idea in case this happens again.
              It´s really, really...
              Good night.

Paul, maybe an option for your site, in case this ever happens again: Stock a load of WU's on your site. If we can't download anymore WU's from Seti, we can get some from your site.

I'm through my seti-cache and am waiting for the damn server to get back online, with Seti twiddling it's thumbs

                  Phew,
Pleased i'm not the only one with problems.
I've got 6 machines here all displaying 'Cannot connect to server'.
Oh well, at least a couple of them can work from cache for a while.
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

Yea Jord, did TA not try this once before? I don't know if they were successful, but that would be handy And if we can limit access to MURCers then all the better
