    It's there.
In public beta, so to say. It's quite likely that things will break a few times, but I'll sort things out hopefully.

    Enjoy.

    Cool Martin,

But what's the Delta WU in Genome? Isn't it easier, to speak of Delta Genes?

        Jorden,

In Genome, your progress is measured in "units" and "genes". The ranking seems to be completely based on the "units" though. Genes are nice, but don't seem to have any influence on your ranking.

Maybe I should rephrase it as "rank", "units" and "delta units"?

          Probably a good idea, Martin.

And if someone else would look into it as well, because in a way I'm busy on my 2nd unit, but trailing that? See, if I am confused, I guess others would be as well

Maybe I should also note that "WUs" and "Delta WUs" are rounded before being displayed.

Take the latest run for example: between Mar 5 00:12:43 PST and Mar 6 00:12:44 PST, Narcissus moved from 1268 to 1406 Units. Yet the Delta WU is listed as 137 (instead of 1406-1268=138). That's because he actually moved from 1268.1 to 1405.58: 137.48.

                Great, Many thanks Martin.

I think I will stay with Genome now, at least for the forseeable future.

                  Now, who designed this logo?

Yes, I did. Feel free to post improvements.

Especially if someone can get the font to match up with the seti@murc logo (slap me over the head with a smelly trout, but I really can't remember which font I used for that one, and I've tried all the fonts I have...)

I'm kinda pleased with the fading background . Took me some time though (mostly spent reading the GIMP documentation) .

One of my ideas was to have M, U, R, and C being made up of the, er, proteins? Well, the little circles anyway. Or, just having 4 'circles'.

Wonderful to have the modern science of amino acids, cellular machinery and nucleotide base pairs reduced to being called lots of little circles, hehe!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could do something like that based on my idea - I liked my idea, but my execution was more like a massacre

Well, I'm sure someone could give it a try. I'd like to give it a shot myself, but I don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about.

Could you post the least disastrous example of what you're trying to do?

Maybe Paul means something like the Olympic Rings, only MURC like that interlocked?

Well, in the meantime have a laugh at my latest abuse to graphics:

I know, I know, it has some room for improvement , but does the idea have any merit? I made the letters by bumpmapping, so at least that's appropriate enough
