  • Future threat...

    http://www.dslreports.com/seti/deadpool

This is <A HREF="http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=DSL+Reports">Team DSL Reports</A>' Club Victims page. We are listed here and our predicted "destruction" is April 17, 2001! They're currently far behind us, but their production is much greater than ours! Keep crunching! We can't let these "broadband users" overtake us!

Not far behind DSLR comes Team OcUK - Overclockers UK. We also have your team in our sights and on our hit list. All troops are armed with Phasers on Stun+1 and a Boarding Party is being organised. Keep crunching, folks, we're coming for ya, no time to relax. Get your weapons primed and prepare to do battle shortly as we advance towards your rear.

This is a friendly Stomp warning which we issue to all teams within our Stomping range. We do not allow our members to recruit from competitor's boards, since it goes against our policy. Feel free to enjoy a friendly banter at our forum here:

With all due respect for them broadband users and friendly stompers: Team EDGE is a more immediate threat, methinks. They'll probably overtake us before we get Ericsson.

I would agree about EDGE being a bigger short term threat. However, DSLR gets new members everyday and production is usually 2000WU/day for them. So, they will be coming for us. Soon.

Do you know why they have shot up the ranks so fast? On my spy...err, excuse me...tourist trips to DSLR's forums, I have learned that they and OcUK have had a competition to see who could produce 100,000 WUs in the shortest amount of time. This brought the teams to life, resulting in them crushing everything in their path. DSLR won.

I've no idea about DSLR ,but OcUK have had a lot of front page exposure & many active members ,& thus a very fast membership growth

OK, but why did you have to bring up a two month old thread instead of starting a new one?
