        Damn, my P166's HD got corrupted after the power went out here for a short time (~30 seconds). Lost that machine, haven't got around to fixing it yet. It was a FreeBSD box, and the Linux version of Genome is much slower, so it wasn't contributing much to the stats anyway. My Celeron machine is slow (overloaded with crap) and doesn't run 24/7, neither does the P3-550. I'm considering stopping SETI on two P3-500s (only machines left on SETI), and replace them with Genome. Should provide a bit of a boost. Other than that, there aren't any more machines I can access.

          I'm as active as I can be. Even trying to crunch a unit on a couple of A4's with a pen and calculator, although I think uploading that one will be something new

          Having had trouble with v0.98 the past weekend didn't even break me down. I'm back at v0.94, crunching happily, have just had a reboot, so my system should be able to crunch both g@h and Think without a problem

            I'm putting both my Duron 866 and my Katmai 500 back on duty this afternoon, the Katmai will be running 24/7.

                  Hmmm. Yes maybe I should put the Samuel2 into operation also.

                  Seaspray:

                  When that happens I delete the following files from the Genome directory:
                  reduced.tmp,asparams.dat,baselines.dat,seed.dat,st r.dat,areas.dat,rotamers.*,input.*,output.*

                  Then the client will download a fresh WU next time it is started, and hopefully the new WU doesn't make the client crash ;-)

                    Yes I finally figured out how to make G@H run really fast... all you have to do is edit the .EXE and change the equation from its really long one to

                    (A+B)-C = Result %1
                    Store Result %1 -> Completed.Output.(Rand-INT[7])

                    It goes lots faster when it doesn't have to do three pages worth of caculations

                        Seaspray, the WU is probably corrupted. Do as lurqa said, and the client should download a new unit and all should be well.

                          Well both of my instances of G@h (v0.93) are corrupted at the moment. If I start them up a get a GPF after a few minutes and have to shut down. Is there a cure? Download a reinstall, I suppose.
