    Wow, the time on the forum is really screwed up. It looks like GMT-4, not GMT.

            Well, the times is still screwed up, because GMT don't have daylight savings, but the rest of Europe has.
            Remember, UK is for the moment GMT+1, and I'm sitting in GMT+2.

                        An 18aa gives 1.71 per cycle, but I get one cycle done every 2.5 to 3 hours. There's at present about 333 points difference, so you do the rest of the math

                          Is running that 18aa unit faster or slower than running a larger unit ?

                            It's relatively faster, but gives relatively less points.

                            The new formula is:
                            units = 0.0025*aa^2 + 0.05*aa

                            The old formula was:
                            units = 0.3055*aa

                            Old examples with Tbird@1466:
                            56aa (4hr) = 17.11 units = 4.2775 per hour
                            75aa (6hr) = 22.91 units = 3.8183 per hour

                            New examples with Tbird@1466:
                            56aa (4hr) = 10.64 units = 2.66 per hour
                            75aa (6hr) = 17.81 units = 2.9683 per hour

                            So the longer the aa the more units you get per hour, exactly the oposite of the old formula.
                            100aa WUs are the same with both formulas.

                              Ofcourse an 18aa is faster, now with one sequence every 4 to 5 minutes
                              And as Kim says, the results might not be high, but it's crunching faster and more per day. I wonder what the comparison would be to do 1 56aa per day or 8 18aa's

                              Jord.
