Uhmmm the old one works faster for me than the new by roughly 18%
Put up a file that's bigger (at least a meg) so the test is more conclusive!Last edited by Greebe; 25 July 2001, 09:59."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -- Dr. Seuss

Old one ~1400kbps sustained. New one is very up and down average ~320kbps. I ran these tests about 10 times each and the old one always delivered a sustained transfer of ~1400kbps while the new one was spread out varying 200-500kbps on all tests.
This is on my 1.5mbps DSL line"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -- Dr. Seuss

This time I got 658 on the old server.
But, three trys of the new server got me 60.5, 658, & 777 KB/Sec.
Try #1 was very up&down.
Chuck
PS This connection runs 5.5 meg/sec at DSLReports.
Note the capitol KB (bytes not bits)Chuck

960kilobit DSL nets me
80.6Kbytes on old server, 81.6Kbytes on new server.
I have a very large RWIN with a scale factor of 8 and both come in with the same pattern... so I would say they are approximately equal in my neck of the woods.AMD Phenom 9650, 8GB, 4x1TB, 2x22 DVD-RW, 2x9600GT, 23.6' ASUS, Vista Ultimate
