Merry Xmas, and top Genome-crunchers Christmas 2001...

As many probably already knows, the genome-stats is currently not upgrading. I can therefore not make a top crunchers-list for 16. to 23. December.

At the same time, I will be offline 2 weeks, but hopefully the stats will be back to the next update, 6. January 2002.

I'll wishing all MURC-ers, especially them frequenting the Distributed-forum a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year.

On another note, I'll be back to Genome in March 2002.

The 100+ lead on CHHAS is okay for the moment. and since RD won't crunch G@H before March 2002, I can build me a little buffer. Doctor Bob has probably passed both CHHAS and me already, so Chris can be 30 for a while

Chris, you still sure you won't want us to form the We_Care_for_CHHAS group?

Haven't submitted for over a week and I'm still up and running!
Just have to transfer some genome folders over to disk and take them into the office (where HTTPort actually works!) and relieve this bloated feeling I've been havin' lately

I feel like a dumb-ass
After spending the last few weeks here at home trying to get HTTPort working over my newly installed (and very fast I might I add- 900-1200 K on average ) cable modem and router. I just hooked up my GAH dedicated machines up to the router to copy folders over to disk when I realized I had to reinstall GAH on the machine I'm on now. Out of shear exhaustion (17 month old and a five year old, and 2 days of Xmas and family!!!) I entered my user info in the client window as I would have done for a dial-up connect. Long story long - my units actualy are sending !
I'm not sure why it's working but it is. Any ideas why it would work?
-Anyway I'm back in the ballgame now and I'm greatly relieved!
