From KWSN:
EDIT: This was taken from KWSN!
When the project changes the desing protein, one or more of the files on you computer must be updated. For the security conscience, the program will stop running when it detects a new protein and it will prompt you to determine if you want to download the update files. When you type "y" for yes, the program will (hopefully) download the new data, then resume crunching away.
However, if you have several machines that you can not readily access, you might consider allowing the program to automatically download the necessary files so that it can continue looking for the holy folding shrub while you'er out trouncing through the woods banging your coconuts together looking for that European swallow!
While this is not a difficult process, please pay close attention. Open up the program Notepad and type the number one as shown below:
Now you need to save this file as "autoupdate.cfg" in the distribfold folder. BEFORE you save the file, make sure that you set the "Save as type:" to "All Files (*.*)" as shown.
If you don't do this, Windows98 will save the file as "autoupdate.cfg.txt" and the update process may not work.
That's it! See it really wasn't difficult. Now go find those swallows!
